Ok, I really never listened to The Who before January. Mostly because I shouldn't even know who The Beatles or T-Rex or all of those bands are, my mom and dad (I think dad) are immagrants from Nigeria. I shouldn't really know any American music because mom never played American music, so I dunno how I know who I knw. Anyway, my guitar teacher gave me "Tommy" and I loved it!!!!!!!!! It is amazing! I listen to it when I get dressed when I sleep when I eat and go to school!!!!!! Anyone else obssesd woth it?

Tommy is the shit. So is Live at Leeds. The Who were on FIRE during this time period... If you like Tommy, check out The Who Sell Out, Live at Leeds, Who's Next, and Quadrophenia.
I just bought Tommy on a used vinyl from a local flea market...excellent work...it actually made a Who fan!
I hated the Who before I heard Tommy. It turned me into a Who convert. I listened to it for days, and although it does get as much rotation as it used to, it still is one of my most beloved albums.
i used to LOVE tommy by the who, but then i think i got an overload with the album plus seeing it live. don't get me wrong i enjoyed it but now i just can't listened to it. weird, huh?
tommy is overrated. the second half of the album is quite boring if you ask me.... the first part is great.... but once again, the second half just makes it quite boring.... if you want to go with great who albums, check out the who sell out or live at leeds.
I just love this album. I used to listen to it almost every day. Now I bought "Who's Next" and I think it is even better. But Tommy is great anyway. It's just the best album to start a The Who obsession.

I would love to see the musical. but unfortunately, we don't have in Germany at the moment. But the movie is pretty good, too
