this is the way i look at it:

there is a reason 2 people broke up. so if you are both the same people, the same thing is going to happen.

however IF one or both of you has changed radically, then you're NOT the same people anymore, right? so it's really like two new people getting together...but still...tread carefully!

 

I'd say it depends on why we broke up. If it was because he was going to Minsk, then yeah, I'd probably get back together with him - that's if I still loved him when he returned. If it was 'cause he cheated on me or we just didn't click together, no way. I don't make the same mistake twice.

I agree with what someone else said, if someone has changed radically it mixes things up a bit
but in 98% of situations, getting back together is just not the responsible logical thing to do
use your heart and brain as checks and balances, if one says no, it's prolly not a good idea

Jeez.. That would depend which one it was.
I'm a bleeding gypsy rover, so pretty much every relationship I've had, has ended because of me going somewhere and she didn't want too, or couldn't follow.
I'm a **** like that, i guess, but staying the same place for too long just makes me insane.
So I've pretty much given up on relationships, they just bring more pain that it's worth, anyways.

But I wouldn't mind having most of my exes as lovers.
I think that's the most sensible way to do it, since most humans aren't monogamous.
If yer gonna get into a relationship, ye better intend to stay together till yer dying day, otherwise it'll be more trouble than it's worth.

I've never had an ex but it would depend on what we broke up for. If it was cheating then hell no because once a cheater always a cheater but if it was for something else that wasnt really serious then yeah i probly would but i would think of ways to make it last.
