So im in the process of trying salvia and havnt got into the trip world yet. My second attempt was with this bong I made because i didnt want to spend the money in buying one, and also, I can hide it easy and throw it away when im done.

Well, anyway i take this old aquafina bottle. (however thats spelled). The 1L type, then i had some 3/8" copper tubing laying around and I cut some off and bend it around a little. Cut a hole and put ductape over it, a couple layers, then make a small hole and force the copper tubing through it to make the tape expand, thus making an airtight seal. Then to form the bowl i took a compression nut that is used to join this type of tubing and solder it on. The job wasnt pretty but it held, so i trim a screen to fit it and this is the result.

So i tried it out with some cold water and crushed ice and this thing works like a champ, cant even tell your inhaling the smoke at all.

However the bowl capacity is quite small so it was time for an upgrade.

So one day i take a trip to my local hardware store with two different sized pipe screens in my pocket that i got from the smoke shop and visit the plumping section. I look for some sort of adapter that will fit this copper tubing and come up with whats pictured below. I take out one of my screens and lucky, its a PERFECT fit! So i buy it, for under $2.

Pictured below is the fitting itself with the screen in it to show how perfect it was, tight too.

So with the parts ready its time to get down to buisness. Got to remove the old bowl with a pipe cutter.

After that I just simply attatched the adapter and here it is, the finished product. Do you have any idea how much salvia you can stuff in this bowl now? Im just joking about the salvia part, no way i would pack that thing full and smoke it, atleast you can adjust your doses quite a bit though.

Well hope this was educational for somebody, just thaught I would share it anyways.

Yeah I don't know why EVERYONE doesn't just buy those tap and hose fittings. The screens we use are made for sinks, so obviously they fit in the end nicely. That's why I use one. But mine is about an inch deep lol.

Lets just say I wouldn't smoke out of it unless it was kill, due to health reasons, I love the green, but I hate smoking out of anything that will mess up the weed taste and also can give off toxins. The copper can give off a mean taste and if I remeber right when it heats up it will let lose chemicals which you in inhale, kinda like with aluminium pipes, I know the plastic will tho. Just get a big ol glass bong and you will be in heaven, like me. Ha.

    Otherwise man, it's pretty good.
