Behemoth and Nile? Has Sharon picked those out herself or what? I thought they usually went for nu-metal and bands hard on their way to become nu-metal... So, it's going to be free, AND you get to see two of the few death metal bands that aren't boring? Kickass.
I wouldn't mind going since it's free with Hatebreed and Nile, and also especially considering that a local band for me called The Showdown is playing too.
Because Sharon pissed off all the Iron Maiden fans in '05 by acting childish. And. Ozzy cancelled so many gigs that year with Sabbath and never made the time to do the studio album with them. Now Black Sabbath is back with Dio (where they belong, if you ask me) and Ozzy is free to do pepsi commercials or reality shows or whatever that crazy bastard lets his wife drag him in to. Also, last year, Ozzy tried to bow out of Ozzfest (gradually) by only playing a few shows and giving up the main stage. I don't think it went over too well for them. This year is going to suck. You know all those white trash, redneck, moronic, unemployed, drunk assholes that would normally be too broke to show up at something like Ozzfest? Guess who's coming this year...
ill complain, most heavy metal bands now-a-days are not very creative compared to the 80s. and is ozzy even going to perform.
Yes Ozzy is going to perform, and how are new heavy metal bands creative? Hatebreed, Behemoth, and Lamb of God are especially creative.
Lamb of God is a little metalcore for my likes.. but they still put on a great show. Randy has an interesting voice, too. Behemoth fucking RULES. I've seen them twice, once with Morbid Angel and once on the Sounds of the Underground tour. Awesome show. Hatebreed fucking sucks. I'm looking forward to seeing Shadows Fall again. Haven't listened to them in ages, kinda grew out of it, but they're all really cool guys. Hung out with them at a local club here in Cleveland.
