Who's going? Have you been to the other 2? Is it worth that much money? I'm thinking about going, but I'm not sure... Check out the website http://www.jamcruise.com/
I've had friends that went and had a great time. I'd also consider amsterjam if I were you - www.amsterjam.net Last March I was over there for ekoostik hookah and string cheese incedent and had a blast. If my schedule allows, I could possibly be 'working' one of the jam cruises this january for rock the earth. www.rocktheearth.net you should go - life is short.
wow! I think Amsterjam will give more time to save money, and it would be more of an adventure. Thanks for the info!
This will be my first JamCruise, but only becasue I didn't have the money or time to go on 1 & 2. I have friends that have been on the last 2 as passengers and musicians. They are the ones that told me I must go and not miss another. It will be well worth the money. Just think, 1500 people on a boat for the music. The bands hang out with everyone as passengers, and hell, it's a cruise too. Bob PS it will be JamCruise 2005, we sail in January.
no way could i begin to afford it. it does look fun and i enterd a contest to win tickets!! maybe i will win em!!
What many people don't actually recognize is that one of the main reasons for the Jamcruises is to attack the cruise industry. The cruise industry is horrendous for the environment in many parts of the world and a portion of the proceeds from these events goes towards environmental action groups lobbying for stricter regulations governing the industry. Your boogien' is doin' the earth good!! If you are interested in learning more while onboard - see the good people with rock the earth who will be there: www.rocktheearth.net
you can enter to win tickets on jambase.com I've been wanting to hit up one of the jam cruises, but I always think about it too late, when the cheaper cabins are already gone. Pretty sure I'll be hittin Amsterjam though. Not as pricey as the jam cruise, and the perfect opportunity to go to a place i've always wanted to go anyway. Hopefully I'll be able to go on one of the jam cruises sometime in the future.
You can still get on the cruise in cheaper cabins. The message board for the cruise has a section for roommates hunting. People that have space are looking for cool people all the time. I'm rooming with a person like that. In the cheapest double you can get on the ship, and I just paid her a couple weeks ago. Go and read some of the post and e-mail people. It's worth it in so many ways. dhs, I guess it's all good to save the environment, but thats not why I go. The music is why I'm there. I work in a print shops and the amount of paper that goes in and out every day would make a tree hugger cry. <---and no, I don't think thats a good thing All religion aside, when big mother earth is sick of the humans and cows (the gas from the cows eat up the ozone layer more then the factories) for destroying her, she is going to get rid of us all. Ice age, move closer to the sun, or hell we might nuke eachother. Don't litter, pick up your trash after a fest, clean up that parking lot after the show, and smokers don't toss your butts on the ground. Bob
probably not - I was with my brother and my well, now ex. we may have met though, I had red hair, red beard and wore glasses
