You know what I wish? I wish I could join in on all the big protests that are happening. But i'm to young to go out on my own, and I cant drive a car. I wanna protest so badly, there would be so much excitement and just wow! Is there anyone out there....who feels like I do about this? =D

Protest starts with one person. Live your life the way you would wish according to your beliefs and you are doing more than organized protests. Organized protests make the news and impact marketing. But as an individual you are part of the whole. Empty mass protests are eventually dust and old news, but the individual living as they see the cause endures. If you don't buy the marketing they can't sell the goods. And each person does count.
Yeah even just making a t-shirt that says what you believe is something, and some form of protest. I make sure to protest by the second with t-shirts, pins, and stickers. But going to protests are a lot of fun and pretty amazing, maybe you could go with a parent?
Well I understand you! In my family my parents are so conservative that they don't let me go to protest... Actually i even can't choose my own clothes, but after half year i am 18 and then i will do something... I will change my ways of living, and i start my own "revolution..."
Back in the late 60's we had Woodstock 1969 (partly an anti-war gathering) and Moratorium Day. The cumulative impact of those events helped galvanize support to end American involvement in the Vietnam War. Waving peace signs and folk music can only work when the other side has a conscience. Unfortunately, we have a new beast entrenched in Washington nowadays. It's called the Neo-Conservative, religious-right, in connivance with the military-industrial complex. Protest against the establishment and status quo starts from the grass roots level and on up. Change begins with the individual.
Educate yourself. Educate your friends. Educate anyone who will listen. Knowledge will be one of the best tools we have at our disposal to end this war.
I know exactly what you mean. I'm not yet legal, and plus, theres hardley any protests going on in Grand Rapids, Michigan anyways. But, you have to make the best of it. Just 3 days ago (saturday) i went out and help up boycotting signs for an hour in front of the KFC by my house. I educated quite a few people, and while not everyone agreed it with, the point is, i stood up for what i beleived in. I made my own protest. Your never to young to speak your mind. Remember that. If you want to go protest something, by all means, go protest it.
