I had heard about the Bush family's connections to the Nazis. This proves it. I also discovered that Karl Rove's grandfather helped build the Birkenau Death Camp and that Arnold Schwarzeneger's father was a member of the SA.

www.google.com enter Prescott Bush Nazi UBC 1944 there were numerous articles on the Bush Nazi connection. Most the documentation comes from the Library of Congress and the National Archives.

I also found numerous articles by doing a yahoo search by entering Prescott Bush (gw's grand daddy) .

One of the first articles was from the New Hampshire Gazette which is America oldest Newspaper (est 1756)

How far does the acorn fall from the tree?

Get this info out!!! Write your local newspaper editor, call radio shows etc ... America deserves to know the truth!

Wow, sixty years ago the bush family was connected with the Nazis, i bet good ol GW Bush spends all his free time in a full SS uniform cos someone in his family was a nazi. Same with Arnie, secretly a closet nazi cos his dad was one.

In fact, there must be tens of millions of Nazi's left in Germany today cos there were over 8 million in 1945, therefore all their descendants must be Nazis!

Its a daft arguement and nobody cares! Concentrate on todays links between Bush an Saudi Arabia!

That's a good point. But please, indulge me. Prescott funnelled taxpayer money directly to Hitler's regime though one bank. It's a little more involved than you might think, you know? That means Prescott was a traitor to America by funding the enemy, AND it also means that the fortune that keeps the Bush's in power not only is maintained by dirty tactics, it was ill gotten in the first place.

It's just a small example of the overall corruption of the American political process.

The late Gustav Shwarzenegger, a small-town policeman, applied to become a member of Hitler's National Socialist Party in 1938 and enlisted into the German army on April 28, 1939, according to documents held at the state archives in Vienna and Berlin.

His war record shows that he joined the military police and took part in the invasions of Poland and France before serving on the Russian front during the siege of Leningrad in September 1941.

In February 1944, Schwarzenegger senior successfully applied to be discharged from the army, stating that he had been wounded and was suffering from malaria.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles, which urges the persecution of Nazi war criminals, said this week that the Terminator actor had in 1990 asked it to probe his father's past.

"He said that they never spoke about it at home, and were not taught about the Holocaust at school in Austria," Rabbi Mervyn Hier, the founder of the Center and a friend of Schwarzenegger, told AFP this week.

"His father was an early Nazi. He asked to become a member before the Anschluss" when Hitler's troops occupied Austria on March 11, 1938, he added.

Hier said the Center found Schwarzenegger's party application form from 1938 and a document confirming membership, dated January 1941, in the German archives that were held in Washington before being returned to Berlin after the unification of Germany.

His military records only became declassified 30 years after his death in 1972.

"We have since 2002 been looking into exactly what he did as part of the Wehrmacht's unit 521 and will publish what we find in a few weeks," Hier said.

"He had absolutely no choice on going to the army, almost no man in Austria escaped that," she told AFP.

"Where he had a choice, but a hard one, was on joining the Nazi party. He was a policeman, so it was good for his career."

Records held at the Center, show that Schwarzenegger was probed for war crimes along with 43 other "low-ranking party members" and allowed to resume his job as policeman in 1947. Schwarzenegger's image abroad suffered in 1986 when he invited Austrian president Kurt Waldheim to his wedding after it emerged that the former UN secretary general had long concealed that he fought in a German army commando accused of atrocities.

I have a lot of the same beliefs that the Democratic party has but, this thread is the reason I will never join them when I am old enough. So Bush's grandfatherhad a connection with the nazis. So did JFK's father, Truman was a member of the KKK when he was young and the democrats were the pro slavery party during the Civil War but,I don't see the liberals bringing that up.

Don't get me wrong I hope that Bush doesn't win but all these alleged connections only hurt our chances to get Bush out of office. It makes it look like were desperate.

Harry Truman was not a member of the KKK but he did fight the Kooky Krazy Killers when he was president. Back during the Civil War the Repuplican party was the liberal party and the Democrats were the conservative party. Then again perhaps your High School history class hasn't gotten to the Civil War era yet.

This isn't about desperation its about getting the truth out. Bush may not be a full blown Nazi but he certainly acts like a facist.

"Facist is as Facist does."- Forresthein Gumpelmeyer

BTW Honky tonk I'm half Jewish so don't even try to put words in my mouth.

The civil war republican party was far from Liberal. They're the reason we kept troops stationed in the south for 15 years. They were all about freeing the slaves, but they didn't want them to move north and take factory jobs from whites.

How does you being have jewish mean i was putting words in your mouth?

My point is that the Democrats ,as well as the Republicans, hands are stained with the blood of slavery and racism. One trying to put the blame of racism on the other party is hypocritcal.

Harry Truman was a member of the KKK but, only for a brief period. When he was running for county seat he joined so he could have the KKK's backing. Truman quit the Klan when he was told he could not appoint any Catholics.

Wow, deep stuff, backed up with evidence and reasoning.

For bush to be a nazi he would have to subscribe to the ideologies set out by Hitler in Mein Kampf, comeplete with a beleif in a 'master race' and eugenics along with a desire for lebensraum. The anti abortion stance of the republicans suggests that this is not the case. Why not try and find some actuall acusations to hurl at him?

Gee, you guys are right. It's certainly "no big deal" that the Bush family funded the Nazi party. It's also "no big deal" that the Bush family happens to be part of the Masons, that the sons were all in the Skull&Bones fraternity, that George Bush I was a stringent opposer of civil rights for blacks, that George Bush's brother helped throw out thousands of black votes in Florida in the last election...

None of this is a "big deal." I'm sure the Bush family had NO IDEA that Hitler was a bad guy, and I'm equally certain that this behavior doesn't indicate a certain set of "family values."

    Why worry?
