To obtain a medical card you have to have a weed doctor say you have a debilitating disorder/disease. In order to even see the weed doctor, you have to have paperwork from a physician cliaming you already have a debilitating disease/disorder, or they won't even see you.

Don't be discouraged though..I know a guy who has a card for irritable bowel syndrome, one for bad headaches and one for bad arthritis in his hands. Your state may be as lenient with it's rules. Lets hope anyway.

from what i've heard, glaucoma, AIDS, and chemo-realted nausua are the most common reasons it's dispensed.
Arthritis, Migrane headaches, constant nausua, are also some second-tier reasons.
I've heard it being dispensed for anxiety and depression, but some how i doubt that.

You all have what support I can give. I would LOVE to see the state decriminalize for medical purposes. There are some pains that only cannabis can stop. And Minnesota is a wonderful place to live. at least it was for me.

I hate to piss on the Parade here. But, FED supercedes State on drug issues.
The FEDS can still bust ya even if City County or State cops can't.
Sorry, but it's fact in usa.

Okay, tell me something I don't already know. lol.
I've had my card for several years now in two different states and have been shook down more than I care to admit. But have been let go everytime, didn't even get a ticket or lose any of my crop or smoking material.
Legal doesn't mean decriminalized, I know.

The bill has passed the Senate is now on the House floor.. even if the House passes the bill.. theres a 99.9% chance that Pawlenty is going to veto it
