I just bought a new pack from Campmor last week, I got a Mountainsmith Boundary internal frame......I haven't broken it in yet but I love it, great pack, great deal, fits me really well, can't wait to break it in.

if there is an ems near you, go in and they will fit you for a pack and even put weight in it and let you walk around the store.

i used to work there and they have a very good policy re customer satisfaction!!

i have a 4500 ci pack that has held up well and carrries a bunch of stuff. also rei is another good source i think.

    good luck and travel safe.

Rob I looked at that pack, could use the additional CI but 4 1/2 pounds...

I hope the hiker fairy visits this Yule and brings me a Golite Jam.

Yeah, it is a bit weighty but I can handle it, plus I don't forsee myself doing any thru hiking anytime soon.
