root rubbing

    i've just started rubbin my roots since 2 nights ago clockwise method due to my long roots.. jus cant stand them. how long do i have to this for? atm the seem to work looks like i have thick hair from thin and straight =D. this reminds of school when i use to rub my palm on ppl heads and give them knots lol.

    from what I hear that will actually damage and cause your roots to thin you may want to stop.

    I do mine, but only when wet and only gently. Ive had success rubbing it slowly and loosley in wide circles. I wouldnt over do it, I only root rub when there's new undreaded growth that isnt locking. Good luck

    Doing it while its wet is even worse, your hair is more susceptible to damage while wet. That being said, root rubbing usually does more harm than good, it causes breakage.
