While reading through other threads, I was wondering as to the sex of the people who you generally hang out with. Are you a gay man that hangs out mostly with girls or other gay men? Or do you hang out mainly with other guys? Or is it an even mix-up? Personally, I used to hang out with all guys and had a few girlfriends. Now, I live with five girls and two other guys so I tend to be with girls more often, but within the people I hang out with it's kind of an equal mix of sexes. If you predominately hang out with girls, why? And vice versa.
I used to hang out with guys mostly, and still would've but I've been moving a lot lately. It tends to be a bit of a mixup, though to be honest, most of the people who I hang out with are in fact girls. There is this other dude who follows me around EVERYWHERE (fucking annoying), is camp as shit but doesnt seem to realise it. He always makes these lame comments like "Ooh, I wish I could get into that lingerie shop, I love lingerie," in a pathetic attempt to sound straight..Ugh so annoying. I think I hang out more with girls because I guess I can associate myself with them more. They aren't into being all tough (majorly off-pissing) and are also into guys, so it's nice to hear what they have to say about stuff. Guys are quite often freaking annoying though, I must admit. Actually, now that I think about it, it is more of a mix, though most of my good friends are girls..Sorry, I'll shut up now.
I have a pretty good mix of guy and girl friends. I only have a couple guy friends who are gay, and I don't really hang out with them much.
I wonder if lesbian girls hang out with straight guys. Well, I'm sure we have some lesbian girls here so do you mind if I ask, mushie?
my friendship group tends to be older females, apart from the fact that we all tend to be middle class (don't ask me why, I guess like attracts like) my friends also seem alternative, they are pagan, one is a male to female transexual. my friendships with females tend to be deep and spiritual and close, whithout anything like sexual attarction complicating things S
It's strange how people seem to connect even before they know each other well. So many of my best friends are so similar to me, though when I first started talking to them, I had no idea.
The majority of my friendships are with gay men. However, the person I consider my closest friend is a straight woman. So for me the order would go as follows: gay men, straight women, lesbians and transgendered people.
