So Sad, Johnny Cash's lakehouse House Burnt Down =(

That is really sad.........



Johnny and June lived there from tha 60s untill they died =(

It's just a damn house... I don't see the big deal.

 

Ehh, I would have liked to visit..... The Beatles and Bob Dylan used to hang out there =) I like visiting places like that to see where people got their inspiration.......

 

Barry Gibb bought it but hadn't moved in...

 

I would argue that these people did not get their inspiration from the house itself.

Maybe from the surroundings of the house, and the people they were with...

But yet again, it's just a house.

 

I feel the same as Rubin

It would be sad if they had been alive and in the house and then it burned down.

Yes, it was just a house, but sometimes homes have a certain charm and aura about them and I’m sure that’s why Johnny and June lived there so long….Losing any popular or historic landmark is a loss to all….

it just puts things a little out of whack when something that has been for soo long is no more.............

I have a lake house and sorry Crummy the deepest part is only 20', but it's 5 miles long, that's why it's named Long Lake....

 

i miss being able to go to navajo lake. my sister in law has a house boat.
