How old were you when you started to play the guitar?

um, i think it was 14.

 

i was 17

 

my grandad was 78 when he started playing and by the time he was 80 he had chucked it out

 

i was 15, but if you were to ask how long i've been seriously playing i'd tell you about 6 months. I'm 18 now, so I'm kind of behind everybody because i wanna go to music school but i dunno if i can make it. i can play with any jazz band or whatever, i just don't know the theory! it sucks man, because i know i could do some cool stuff on my beautiful fender deluxe player's strat if i could sort the sounds in my head to notes on the frets!

 

I got my first guitar when I was thirteen. I didn't start getting way into it until just recently, though.

When i first got that long awaited guitar, man that was a happy Christmas.

 

I think I was fourteen though I had been playing the piano for 7 years before that. I still play both instruments.

i was 15 when i started to play classic guitar, after a year i started to play electric guitar

 

I was 14. Didn't really like it though so I went back to my prefered woodwind instruments and started Clarinet. :3
