Go to www.etsy.com and search for hemp.

I have a couple of anklets listed there, but I doubt I get much traffic on there... but there's some pretty nice stuff on it though, just search around... plus, you'll be supporting independent artists.

any store that sells crafts (ie WalMart, Michaels, Zellers in Canada, even smal craft stores) will carry hemp, and kits to make hemp jewelry that comes with beads and everything... otherwise, like BSR said, checking out places like etsy.com or ebay, there's a supply of hempy things there!

I can personally attest to the value of these products, I wear IPath shoes, and i've got clothing from Nibus........Nibus' hoodies are unparalleled in durability and warmth.

I have a problem when making anything with hemp twine..

I get seriously itchy! Is it just me? Or am I maybe using some funky hemp twine?

I am finding to to be very lumpy, so everything I try to make turns out lumpy and weird.

    some is lumpy... some isn't.

if its too stiff to work with soak it in some water for a while and it will be alot softer and easier to work with :)

Thanks for the tip, I'm going to try that!

I did buy some new stuff today, it was much thinner, sooo much easier to use, and it didn't make me itchy!

My first attempt was the one with the pink bead, but being a newbie.. I forgot to leave a way to tie it.

The one with the metal word plate (says Laughter) was my second attempt, and I remembered to leave a loop, so now I can actually use it.

I think I did pretty well, and I really enjoyed doing.. just have to learn some new knots!
