Sage is of course my most favourite name ever, has been for years. :)

I don't have any children yet, but my companion animals are ...
Branwen Felicity - named after the Welsh Goddess of love, the name literally mean 'fair raven' (i.e drak beauty), which suits her. Felicity was chosen for the meaning [joy/luck]. She was a rescue and unofficially called Lucky. I liked the sentiment, but though she needed a name with a bit more gravitas.
Casey Jack - named after Casey Affleck & Jack Kerouac, as they're pretty cool.
Charlie Cash - Charlie is after my great grandfather, and Cash as in 'the man in black' (his fur is almost entirely black, and he sings after a fashion) .

My favourite names for [future] children are ...
August William, Finn Edward, Kiran David, Lennon Richard, Seamus Jude
Adah Laurel, Esme Juliet, Gaia Bronwen, Harper Jane, Ivy Clara, Meredith Hope

I have friends whose children are named Sage and Oak. I've never planned on having children, but I've always loved the name Reuben.

Ever since I was young, I have been obsessed with the name Zoe. Since I was 5 or 6, I've always said I would name my first daughter Zoe. Sadly it's become so popular. In any case, I have 4 names for each gender that I absolutely love (and the middle names I like are constantly in flux).

Zoe Rebecca/ Zoe Rivka/ Zoe Aviva
    Sofia (Sofie) Reina/ Sofia Talia
    Isabela (Isa) Ariela
    Elena Thalia/ Elena Talia

    William (Liam) Arthur
    Elian Jonathan
    Leonard (Leo) Elliot
    Joaquin Joseph

In my family, everyone is named for someone else- normally in the middle name but not always- so I plan to follow suit.

I've always liked the name Bryan for a boy...after Bryan Ferry, ya know. Hmm, I like Joel, too, but that's kind of religious-sounding. It's Jewish, though, which is cool. I like James, after my dad, also, and I like Hispanic names like i.e. Carlos. I guess because I'm part Argentinean and all.

I like a lot of girls names; Layla, Athena, Vanessa, Daniela, etc and I love my own name, Nadine, but I would never name my own child after myself. It just seems kinda tacky to me when people do that. It sounds like you're saying, "I am so great that I am going to name my child after myself."

I like hippie-sounding names, too, of course. I'd love to name a kid something that means "peace." Anybody have any suggestions? (Other than "peace," of course, since that's also the way they say "piss" in Spanish, haha.)
