It's not about curing cancer, it's about making some people happy for that little bit of time. No, a water fight isn't going to cure cancer, but it will make a hell of alot people feel better about themselves, be it only for 10 minutes.

No... people being sprayed with water is not going to cure them, especially how the participants are not the sufferers. The reason it is for cancer is the publicity...there are tv crews there, which help in donating money. The fact that Londoners are banding together and having fun for the day is a good thing anyway, then there is the added bonus of it being for a good cause. It's obvious that a water fight is not going to cure someone from cancer, and it is patronising to say a cancer sufferer would believe that, they have cancer... they're not retards...
