When I heard that SCI was most likely calling it quits, I was originally really upset and in denial, but now I have accepted the bands fate (what choice do I have?) and Billy's decision. He's got to do what he's got to do, and though I don't much like Honkeytonk (its not that I don’t want to- I’ve even had a dream that I liked them - I just don't) I understand his decision and appreciate what he has given me. With that said, I read in the press release that there would only be a limited number of incidents before their breakup or whatever you call it. I was hoping however that they would at least do a big summer tour to end their career, instead of just abruptly calling it quits. I have been waiting, in denial of their statement that they would announce a summer tour - but it doesn’t seem to be happening. I think it’s only fair to the fans to allow them to see the band one more time without in my case having to fly across the country. Honkeytonk is doing more shows then SCI now. Can’t he just wait until they actually break up? Leave such a great band with a spectacle deserving of their great legacy, rather then letting them dwindle into nonexistence.

wait til after Winter Carnival, at least.
It's pretty typical for mad House to hold onto info, and also organize later than other bands of equivalent following.

I like Jillian , Billy and Scott...but together, it seems that it falls flat too often. It has caught fire, so your dream could come true.

But I like this much better than Billy & Liza.

^^Indeed, SCI at Camp Zoe will be a great event. I haven't listened to them, but I am very familiar with Camp Zoe and The Schwag. Anything they put on is a slice of heaven and this summer it's only getting better.

Yea... I've heard that one. It's definatley posible - Keller has been saying that he wants to start playing with a band. After I originally heard this rumor I tried to imagine Keller doing SCI songs, and I closed my eyes and pictured him on stage playing a bunch of different songs, and though he might work... it would just be missing so much without Nershi. As drumminmama said in another thread, the Keller Williams Incident is only worth it for the Incident. I just can't Imagine SCI without Billy. However... I can't think of a candidate much better than Keller, and if he were the one thing that could keep SCI alive then I would be all for it. Personally though, I think Nershri will get over Honkeytonk and come back to SCI in time.

i think keller is a terrible choice. it will only be a matter of time before we see SCI (and Phish) back on tour....
