Hello, I know im only 16, but I thought of this a few days ago, if it is in ym code to bald as I age (which i cant tell, my grandfather on my mothers side never made it to the age where he would start to bald), will that cause some dreads to fall out, or how does that work, if so, does anyone (or anyone you know) have a receding dread- line, how does it look, and finally, should dreads cause pre-mature balding? Thanks much yal.
their is no difference between regular hair and dreadlocks when it comes to balding........if your genetically predisposed to go bald, your gonna be bald. It won't make you bald anymore or less.
tho you will be able to have more of your hair "on your head" so to say... as you thin and bald .....
Your right! since with dreadlocks your no longer "shedding" hair you will technically have more hair on your head.........course the extra hair will be dead/unattatched hair in your locks, but it all counts right
I don't think so.........but maybe someone else has experience in this, i've never heard of such a thing....i'm pretty sure that if your not predisposed to balding, you have nothing to worry about, if you are already predisposed to balding, it's gonna fall out anyway, heavy dreads or not.
