I don't like it personally, from a guy's (and this guy, and no other) perspective. Especially if you have a nice ass that you're proud of. A well formed, healthy ass (if you aren't sedentary, starved, or obese) is a sign of fertility and sexuality to me and the piercings compromises the aesthetic of it. I don't think it enhances the look of an ass, unlike earrings, nose rings, eyebrow rings which seem to accomplish what they set out to do (the perk of tongue rings for me seems like it'd be more about providing a new texture for making out as well as the look it creates).

Doesn't seem functional, and it impedes the natural beauty of an ass, in my opinion. I advise against it.

You know it's not like a tattoo that's hard to get rid of. Try it and if you like the changes it brings to your life, keep it. If not, just take it out and let it heal. It's always good to experiment, when the consequences aren't permanent.
