I don't think there's much you can't blame on Mel Gibson....

He was just another student who was cleared of any charges. There was so much panic that the police basically just grabbed someone who they thought fit the description.

This guy certainly looks programmed, and based on the circumstances, I think it's pretty safe to say he was.

    thanks for answering

my thoughts go out to all the families that were effected by this tragedy..
and my heart goes out to the shooter.. maybe that's wrong but I think something must have been horribly wrong for him to want to take other peoples lives... I hope he is able to find peace in the after life I hope the same for all of the people who he killed

:( its sad however you look at it

My thoughts also go out to the families of victims who succumb to less sensational events. There are countless tragedies that get lost in the shadows of events like this which unfortunately give gunmen the national fame they crave- albeit posthumous... this can only be encouraging the next nut case to act.

It's too bad that it's being media-frenzied to death. I didn't watch the coverage last night, it made me sick that it had just happened hours before and they already had fucking THEME MUSIC for the show...

Now the next suicidal-sicko who decides to take out some people, is going to try to beat that guy's record...

Obviously they are still investigating, but I heard on the radio that his girlfriend cheated on him, there was one body found in a dorm room, and that was her.

why cant people just take their own lives whenever heartache is too bad for them instead of dragging other people with them?

Because they want everyone else to hurt, too....and they want to go out with a bang and be famous.

I really dont get the whole "be famous" thing, when they cant take their fame with them when they are dead...... if it does anything, they get karmacally (sp?) kicked in the ass for their next life

I don't get it either... which is good. I'm concerned about the folks who DO get it.

    why?

I sincerely believe that those people who do horribly wrong things.. child molesters.. rapists.. serial killers.... and others like them deserve peace too

& yes stinkfoot I also spend countless moments thinking about other less attention getting atrocities... I believe it hurts us all as humans when bad things like this happen... the poor... starving... homeless... abused... misunderstood there are many things that go wrong and I often find myself wishing I could heal the world.. but many would call me naive for even wanting such a thing.. If only everybody... EVERYBODY could find happiness.. and I don't think I'm wrong for hoping that EVERYBODY does

just a simple quote hopefully you understand what I am trying to say.. but if you don't it doesn't change the way I feel

My choice is what I choose to do, And if I'm causing no harm, it shouldn't bother you. Your choice is who you choose to be, And if you're causin' no harm, then you're alright with me. Ben Harper

if only we could spread more love when bad things happen to try and even the scales a little....
