congrats! its amazing what a switch in care can do! some people are really in the wrong profession! great to hear that things are really turning around (litlerally) for you guys!
most women can have a vbac without issues... since most c's are done because of positioning n size of baby rather than a true emergency health issue for the mom or baby anyway... i had a vbac 15 years ago and i had some complications with preg and del. the only thing my doc would not allow was a home birth because of my previous history.. i compromised and had a birth suite and as close to an at home birth as i could ..
Congratulations! Baby boys are the sweetest and they just love their mamas to bits! Good luck with your VBAC. The hospital here does not allow them, so I had to have a 2nd c/s, plus she was breech. It was a breeze though, so if you go that way know that it will not be like your first (i'm assuming 1st was emergency). I was up the same day, held and nursed my baby almost immediately after she was born, and was home two days later. The c/s itself never hurt, but I did get major contractions while nursing after, but I heard that is normal after 2nd babies. Good luck, I hope you get the birth experience you want! I love the name, it is beautiful!
