Attention all hippies: Help clear Jim Morrison's name by singing the petition here: http://www.doors.com/cgi-bin/miami.cgi Jim was arrested in Miami in '69 for apparently exposing himself, but all of the Doors say it never happened. This was one of the main reasons why Jim began his downfall, ultimately dying in '71. It would be terrible if his name was never cleared. Sign the petition!
he claimed he did it...it's called image creation. and has nothing to do with his tendency to think himself immortal.
No, he didn't actually do it...he got drunk and rowdy and said he was going to, but he didn't take his pants off. At least according to the other Doors and some other witnesses. I think it's a nice idea to clear his name...a lot of people think that Jim would still be around if it weren't for all of the chaos at Miami. He was afraid that he was going to jail and could have been in there for 18 months or so if he hadn't died before. He was really depressed during his last days in Paris. I don't know; that's just my opinion on it. I think it would be great if it were cleared and hope it happens.
