Hello there, first of all: Sorry in advance for any wrong spelling and grammar ;-). I am a 26 years old girl, for now living in Germany being half spanish, half german. I just found this wonderful forum and thought its gorgeous. I would love to meet some nice people here, easy going and full of joy and I would LOVE to absorb this way of live I always dreamt of. I recently have a not so easy time with my life. I try to find my way through it. I had a bad time with my parents and we have no contact anymore. I don't know about Hippie-Life in Spain. I guess it's fine, in Barcelona at least... I like the new wave of hippies in Catalonia, most of them are very kind.
Hello Sara & Welcome to the forums. So sorry about your problems with family. I know it must make you feel really alone. Hang in there and think positive thoughts. I toured Andalucia last summer and I stayed during the xmas holidays with someone I knew there. We stayed also in Madrid for two days, I think it's Barcelona (I could be wrong)that reminds me of my City Boston...well it was a city that was very small but very classy and it had a restaurant called Boston in the main plaza. Anyway dear mariposa (buterfly) welcome.
I'm from a village near Barcelona... and I don't even remember a restaurant called Boston. There's one called Zurich, but Boston... it doesn't ring a bell to me...! You're right, Hari, Barcelona is very classy... however, I like it. It's not modern at all, it's fine!
