its not as difficult as you would think whilst a lot of girls claim to be straight being friends with girls who are gay kindles a curiousity in them and if you say you wont be seing her after the end of the summer she might see this as a way to experiment no strings attached. I have been in this situation a few times with staight girl freinds and its ended up being fine and we just had fun
go for it but dont make it seem like a big deal

 

BTW you will not know if you are gay for sure until you are in your mid to late twenties. Teenage hormones and "finding yourself" has to take its course.

 

I went on the hiking trip with that girl and things did not go well. We were at the trailhead when this guy (from here on I will call him Ass) who we work with and I go to school with just happen to be there and asked if he wanted to tag along which the girl (from here on I will call her Lisa,not her real name) said okay. Well the whole trip Ass is hitting on Lisa, putting his arms around her and telling me that I could go on that he could stay with Lisa. At first, Lisa was tolerating this but, by the time we got to the top of the mountain he was starting to annoy her and from there things went straight to hell.

I had enough of him and pulled Lisa away and told him to quit bothering her. I also told him that his behavior was unacceptable and that Lisa did not go hiking to be hit on. Then he said that I shouldn't talk since I had only brought her up here to get her alone and "bang" her and that he only came along to protect her from me. At first she didn't believe him but I did admit I had been with girls before. When Lisa heard this her eyes got huge like she had seen a ghost. I told her that I was not intending to do anything like that to her while we were out on the trail. Well, me and Ass got in this huge argument and next thing I knew Lisa was headed back down the trail.

That ended up completly disasterous and I don,t know what to do.

 

Well that just sucks. If Lisa was not interested (which is fair enough), then you could have accepted it, but Ass has come along and just made things worse. Now you don't know what Lisa truly thinks.

Uumm, I'm not sure what to suggest, other than to deck Ass or something, he sounds like he needs it.

 

Just find yourself a nice boy and you'll get over these teenage feelings and emotions that so confuse you.

 

I'm sorry to hear that things went so badly, darling. If that punk hadn't have showed up, you might've actually had a chance to explain things to her on your own..in a more civilized manner. Did you talk to her afterwards, and try to smooth things over? From here..thats about all you can do, is just try to talk to her. Sorry I can't be more helpful. :&

 

I did explain things to her and told her that I really liked her and she told me that she would like to be my friend but nothing more.

I just read every post on this thread and wish I knew what to say about it. I have been curious about being with a girl for a while but unfortunately have not had the opportunity to do anything about it. I had a friend I was dying to just kiss but she moved away before I ever had any courage (and before I was bold enough to admit to myself that I was interested in another girl, since it was TOTALLY against my family's beliefs). She acted interested in both me and my husband, but she was only 17 last time we saw her and her mom took her back to Canada which is where she moved here from. Anyway, I'd like to find someone like that again.
