I thought you belived this. All I am trying to do it show people don't belive all the shit you hear out there about Drugs. Find out for yourself, read up on it, ask people who know. People will say anythinig to scare others its human nature.

prolonged and excessive LSD use, There is a reason you can get socail security. You can not just go in there with a clear head and say I took 7 hits of LSd there for I am insane. some people out ther think that this LSd Theory is true, I have seen people who are afraid to trip over the number of times they heard you will become insane. Thats insane that people out ther buy this crap, I am so glad you don't.

I think I developed HPPD because of really irresponsible use when I was in high school, I used to eat acid like chewing gum and would often double up to trip again....i've eaten half a sheet at a time before, and sipped liquid out of a vial like syrup, (but this was after a long period of daily use).....this is why I developed HPPD, not from normal responsible use, and it's not that bad. At first it was actually pretty cool, then it became quite annoying, I couldn't read any normal sized writing for about a year or two.......it calms down though substantially....i'm to the point now everything is always normal but if I want to I can see visuals at a moments notice if I tell my brain to let go.

dudeenamedrob. sorry to hear that man, I am curious What are your thoughts now on LSD, If someone who nevr took the drug asked you about it and if its safe to take what you would you tell them. I hope you would tell them not to do it like you did.now that you look back on it do you regret how many times you tool it or what. also when was the last time you took a hit ?

post trautmatic stress disorder and psychosis.

I think LSD is a wonderful mind opening tool, however I would never recommend anyone do it like I did, it was extremely irresponsible of me, and disrespectful to the nature of LSD itself, in retrospect I started doing it before I was mature enough to respect it. I think that if you have the right frame of mind, and you can handle what it will bring, LSD is a wonderful, positively mind altering tool, it has potential to be truly magical for alot of people (myself included)....however it can be the worst nightmare to people who are not ready, mentally unstable, or emotionally unstable, it has the potential to cause permanent psychological damage, it's definitely not for everyone. I don't so much regret taking it the way i did, because it has permanently altered my mind for the better, I look at things differently and i'm able to think in abstract angles and patterns that make sense to me but not to the uninitiated....things are alot clearer since I embarked on that journey, and I can truly see things on a level most people can never imagine, but it's frustrating because human language cannot express the things I want to talk about......like I said before, I don't regret it, but I still don't recommend it. I still trip occassionally, 1-5x a year maybe, but I only do it when i'm in an exceedingly positive mental state, last time I dosed was probably last summer.

I agree with you fully, I have always said youg kids who are immature, or people who are mentally unstable should not mess with LSD. I have just seen so many people over the years get messed up from not respecting this drug.

Some scientists believe that young children are less apt to have bummers than adults, and are more suited to be taking the drug than adults. They think this based on the fact that children have yet to experience the stress and evils of the world they live in (Acid Dreams: A Social History of LSD)

and yes...the whole tripping 6 times and being considered legally insane thing was a written document, forged in the late 60's...Obviously i dont believe it is true, I've tripped close to one hundred times and I'm normal as a fish in the fuckin sea. I don't know why people argue for the sake of argueing on this thread its so childish

HPPD does really suck... immature acid use, when i was yonger, more stupid and all that i was pissed that i couldnt find single hits of acid in my area but at that time was able to locate a vial and blew all my money on acid, and subsequently blew my mind. I feel ya man, this perpetual trip kinda sucks.

if you dont think that the vast majority of north americans are brain washed then you are one of them. - you are brain washed

in most cases it takes a powerful psychedelic experience to wake someone up from their denial. - i suggest you take some more!

this is exactly what I thought when I read his post. The last trip I had was great, and it exposed all the fucked up shit going on around here. I agree that the vast majority is brainwashed, if they weren't they would not be paying taxes.

i pay what taxes i have to - but i dont like it one bit and i do my best to educate those around me about how wrong it is that we are forced to pay for services that we may not use.

Wow, this topic got intense quite quickly...back to the ignorance part-

Frankly I've excepted to a certain extent that the people making LSD so frightening, are the same people that need an awakening! Nobody could have explained how it would change my life, I had to make a choice and ride the rainbow. All I want is for the dumb ones to mind their own life and I'll mind mine!

i am 30 and tripping has never been better! it sucks to hear someone blame growing up as a reason for their problems and not themselves.

maybe you are just going through a phase or something - something you will grow out of or learn how to transcend.

tripping will get better for you or you are doing something wrong!

do you write those inspiration posters that show people climbing mountains and acomplishing other various things?

seriously, if you can't admit that life is alot more serious as an adult, there is something wrong with you.

all i'm saying is when i was young every trip was a guaranteed good time. now that i'm older and see the world for what it is, it can be a bit much sometimes.
