Got myself a bottle. I haven't had it before- anyone have experience with this- I've heard good things. With premium vodka do you even tend to mix or just drink it straight? I think I would be more inclined to mix the lower-level stuff...this is kinda a rare treat though- so I'm thinking straight?

Actually, you would want to use a better vodka when making drinks. Personally, I cannot stand cheap vodka in drinks or shots. It's not worth the after effects to drink cheap vodka, which is why I only drink Armadale or Chopin...sometimes Grey Goose. Stoli is a pretty average vodka.

Well, there are several types of Stolichnaya vodka, some better (and more expensive) then others, but in general, there is nothing exceptional about this vodka.

I prefer drinking vodka straight, but I also know plenty of good cocktails based on vodka.

My advice, try a mark of vodka called "Ruskiy Standart"

If your mixing any high end vodkas with anything besides water then there's no point in buying a high end vodka in the first place

my personal favorite over all readilly available vodkas is Ketel one, it goes for about 50$ for a 26er and i think is personally the smoothest, best tasting vodka on the market

Stoli isnt a high end vodka, as it usually only costs a few bucks more then your typical smirnoff, but it is definatly a better choice over the lower end stuff

well first off your drinking goose, so all your doing is falling into a comercialized, media pushed brand

2nd, WHAT IS THE POINT in drinking grey goose and orange? can u explain that to me? drinking vodka mixed with anythin carbonated or citric just masks the taste so what the fuck is the point???

I am not from russia, I have tasted that goose, but I agree on the name thing

grey goose gives me a headache before it gives me a buzz. But I drink Popov as I mix it with citrus flavored diet soda anyway.

Drink the Stoli straight, if you dont like it, mix it with something.
