Me and a friend were discussing this, but since we're only 15, there's not much traveling we can do. And I have a busy summer anyway.
But, what we were thinking was that, it'd be mad cool if the anniversary could be celebrated locally, like a grassroots kinda thing. I know it won't happen, but that's a fantasy.
I would really enjoy some kind of local things going on around here, even if it's nothing more than a small gathering at a park or bookstore.

hmmm....well how bout instead of glorifying the long gone past we define ourselves with a new event, reinventing the old ideas in new ways, you know, setting this generation apart and making our own stamp in the world???
