I just checked this movie out and loved it. If you've seen, what do you think? If you havent, check it out. Its about a man whos the leader of a skinhead gang who goes to prison for a hate crime but gets out after 3 years. He comes back a changed man who realizes what he has done is wrong, and so is every other gang related crime hes commited. He also notices that his biggest fan, his little brother, is headed straight down the same road as he was and attemps to save him from everything that awaits him. Its an awesome movie. Check it out.
I thought the cinematography was amazing and the acting was great. The story line was tragic...but fit the movie well. Definitely one of my favorite movies of all time.
It's pretty good -- it's powerful. But I think it's slightly hard to believe. Edward Norton's character went from being an extremely hateful murderer to nice guy in three years? Eh. Still well done, though, and worth watching more than once.
Great movie. I saw it when it first came out and it blew me away. I believe that (some) people can change and Edward Norton's character met a black man in jail that he got to know as a person. I think, in doing so, he realized that we're all the same and his hate was unfounded.
Haven't seen it but I know that in my country this movie became admiringly famous after one 14 year old boy tried to kill his classmates and teacher after watching it and confessing that Am.His. X inspired him a lot. Yea, he was undeniable mentally ill but a fact is still a fact.
This used to be one of my favorite movies.... My favorite part is where he is the bathroom and covers up the swastika that's "tattooed" on his chest.. It's a great movie.
I always miss the first few scenes, but I saw most of it. I could not believe how good it was, I would like to see it all the way threw. And the ending, I was like holy shit
I gotta echo everyones sentiments. Excellent flick. I would like to see it on dvd or a movie channel though because only time I saw it was on AMC I think it was. But yet and still, excellent flick.
I love Edward Furlong and american history X! i remember watching it when i was like 10 haha but yeah that is crazy movie
It's been one of my favourites for years. I think it's good for young people to see because it makes its point very, very clear.
My sister made me a copy; my step dad and me are watching it. He has never seen it. I have only seen it on FX and they crop it all to hell
