    Hi Folks,
Anyone know how close can HIGH PRESSURE SODIUM bulbs be to the top of the plants?
Also; For big buds how long do I grow in the vegetative state indoors? Is it two months like outside?
    Thanks,
    Stonehedge. :)

Depending on the type of reflector and airflow 18"-24". Best to use a therm. or aleast your hand to see how hot it is at level of canopy. Air flow is Key.

What size bulb my man? Rule of thumb (as above) is if you can comfortably hold the back of your hand under the light you are fine.

For veg time length. It will vary on the type of grow. Lil pine trees vs hedges. But in general figure on sativas doubling height.

O you can get them fairly close to a 400w HPS 12" - 18" good airflow will help. Keep an eye on them though sometimes a growth spurt will hit and **pow** they grow a lil too close and get crispy.

Veg the girls for 30 days at least - then in they go. You can go with fewer larger plants (pinched tops, bent tops, FIM) or more smaller little christmas tree shaped ones (<- easier to trim) :)

    Don't forget to clone them!
