This is my favourite idiom of electronic dance music. I think it's the most open and universal style. The range of musical influences that can sit together comfortably in a mix is very wide - from funkiness to elaborate and very polished melodic stuff to more trancy stuff....

I also like the general tempo range of 125 - 130 bpm. Faster stuff can get too much - too manic and driving. I do like a certain amount of trance though too - but not all the night long.....

Anyone else like this stuff? if so why? who?

Yeah - deep and dark. Also I like some of the funkier stuff.
