Hey guys, I tried DXM awhile ago and me and my friends are plannin' on doing it again in a few days. Only problem is I have been reading about how SSRI's and DXM may cause Serotonin Syndrome, do you think this is anything to worry about or far to rare for me to get it? Last time I tried DXM I ruined my high because I was too worried about Serotin Syndrome, so I hope theres no reason for me to fret. Let me know what ya think, Thanks!
Hey, I've been on prozac for the past 5 months or so and I've taken DXM numerous times without any hard times. It depends what dosage you're planning on really. You only need to worry about serotonin syndrome if you're gonna do something like 1000 mg. I've gone up to around 400 mg on prozac.
Low dose lexapro is fine even with an MAO inhibitor, but the interaction with DXM isn't known. I think it would be okay, but it really hasn't been studied much. Sorry I couldn't alleviate your worries.
