I have an obsessive thing for sandals, and wear them year round. I have very healthy feet. When I see people with socks and thick padded athletic shoes on a hot day, I just cringe, and have a hard time being around them. I sometimes try to talk them into taking off their shoes and letting their feet breathe. I can just feel their feet hot and burning, and it makes me think they are ignoring this most important appendage, thus being kind of an ignoramous.(Ha! Ha!) They usually have athletes foot too, and what does that say about them.? Are your feet burning and sweating right now, well take off your shoes and socks and wear sandals.....

I don't make cowboy hats. I know they were in the list, but I was mostly thinking of how different hats might reflect a persons character. I make crocheted hats, many different styles, and cloth hats, but not cowboy. I am sure there are hats like that at any store, anywhere. Hope you find one.

Are you a country boy and rancher? Thats what I think of when I see cowboy hats. Cows, horses, and red-necks, dust, sweat, and dirty boots. Is this a legitimate stereotype ???? Can you tell a person by their hat ?

I picture you in a bandana like in your avatar, because of the pirate thing you have going.(What is it that draws you to pirates.?-Because you admire Johnny Depp.?) I don't know what a trucker hat is, but a white beanie makes me think of you out in the sun alot and wanting a reflector, on a hot, bright day at the beach.

Me and my friends call ourselves pirates from time to time due to the fact that we all were the same three shirts and boardshorts all the time. I am not sure what you would call that, we don't say poor or anything because its not really true (most of the time any way, being in a tourist town money and wealth come and goes with the highseason) and we don't say hippy beacause we arn't really too hippy so we just say pirate. We also live in a back staber town right next to the ocean. Plus I just like pirates.

Yes I would say you are right about the beanie. That seems to be me.

and this is a trucker hat. not mine but the first one I found on image search.

The tight knit white beanie? I think you should look around your local scene to find one. You know, a hat has to fit just right, and be the right look, and you can't get that with mail order. I only deal locally, and it is a good idea because you just have to try on things to get whats really right for you. I hope you can locate one. Thanks for asking, you seem very nice and funny.

No, I guess I cannot really tell much about you from your stylin' hat, fingerless gloves, beer bottle photo shoot and drunkeness award, or the unlit dangling-from-the-mouth cigarette. LA, you are truly an enigma, and a lingering mystery.

Sometimes you can tell a bit about a person’s personality by the hat they ware but hats can be changed as often as socks. And some people will choose a hat as a prop to deceive or fool people.

Example: Some one might ware a cowboy hat to catch suckers for their oil investment scam.

You can tell a lot about a person’s personality by looking in their eyes. So if anyone with shifty eyes tries to buy one of your hats with a credit card – do a card check. Cheers!

imagine a "safarihat" made in black, green or purple, but not safaristyle, more that is really a help for shade, i start waring one of these, black, (but woauld like one in a more funky colour) and it can flip sides, with a light colour the inside out. mex cowboy safari witch style (not pointed though)....feel less hot and burned and feel like people think i am a bit mysterious Hahah! i like it.

i think the baseball hat is the best cuz it says " i'm cool & i know what i'm doing & i don't care about fashion too much i just see that i have a unique style " & the best thing if the hat's shadow on the eyes ..it gives a mystery personality !!!! which reminds me ..... sherlock holmez !!!!!!!! he's a hole diffrent personalities with his cool hat .. i like it !!

Anthropologists have studied the use of hats for years (e.g. Wobst in the former Yugoslavia, where hats convey ethnic identity). They tell a ton about the person. Especially if the hat is large and gaudy- it is meant to convey a message in addition to any practical use (think of how many people in this country drive a car with a cowboy hat on). The American cowboy hat is one of the most conspicuous articles of clothing in the modern world. It definitely says something about the wearer. American indians used to wear big gaudy headdresses so they could easily tell friend from foe. We use clothing in the USA more and more to tell others "who we are". Think of rainbows, hippies, cowboys, rednecks, etc.,etc. Do they not have a certain style of clothing--- practically a uniform that tells everyone "this is who I am and you are not or you would look like me"?
