    Awesome man!

Have you heard the new Bright Eyes album 'Cassadaga'? Its AMAZING. I live about 5 mins from the Cassadaga in Upstate NY- also a big spiritualist community.

The Shins are a great band too- I recently picked up their new one "Wincing The Night Away" and I'm enjoying that also.

Im a HUGE indie-dork. A few bands I listen to:

    Modest Mouse
    The Flaming Lips
    Bright Eyes
    The Shins
    Bjork
    Cursive
    Death Cab For Cutie
    The Postal Service
    Wilco
    The White Stripes
    Dallas Green
    Sufjan Stevens
    Motion City Soundtrack

    etc. etc.

Bright eyes has been my favorite band for ages. but cassadaga SUCKED.

His older tunes were way better. They had individuality whereas they were like a personal story being told (Lets not shit ourselves, Bowl of Oranges, shit even this stuff on his first album Water). Look at space invaders and lava monster. Hes trying to take his stuff into a new direction with more backup vocals etc. Dissapointing. I only liked 3 or 4 songs off that album.

ps the shins wincing the night away is sex. should check out amy winehouse. Shes picking up were lilly allan has left off (the drunk cancelled her whole NA tour).

That would be my exact list, just minus Motion City Soundtrack and Dallas Green and add on The Pixies.

I'm going through a Sufjan Stevens binge right now, sooo amazing.
