Did you have someone staying at Faslane for a bit called James, he had a dog called Oddball? I heard from someone else that he got kicked out of Faslane...? Anyways, he was at Bilston last week, on Thursday night I think it was, he tried to strangle one of the Bilston residents, he also punched him in the face, then he put one of our sofas on the fire and the entire communal went up in flames. Just a warning to anyone on protest sites to be wary of this character. Natx
i dont remember him being there when i was there but man that really sucks.. thats terible. is anything salvageable? are you going to have to re build the whole camp?
It was just the communal area, it was needing pulled down anyways and fortunatly we have some really good builders on site and it was almost completely re-built in a day. But we lost harnesses and most our climbing equipment and some tools as well.
that sucks! ... Do you think the guys being set up to do stuff like this? or that he's just got an attitude problem?
I don't think he's being set up, apparantly he's well heard of in the protest seen, he's been seen around Nine Ladies a lot. However a month or so a go a band of gypsies came down and completely messed up site. Gypsy culture always interested me but these were gypsies had evolved to football shirts and generators, possibly the most terrifying people I've met, lol. I reckon that was a set up. They were very violent and uuuh horny. Lol.
yeah...i met james...he seemed like a decent guy from what i saw of him...ah well... his dog was cool tho...
Yes we are all well aware of James at faslane. He was kicked off for numerous reasons. Mainly for not doing any work or paying any kitty. He just seemed to walk about eating sandwiches and drinking Special. Sorry to hear that he went over to you guys. Oddball is a really cool dog though, and is welcome back at the camp whenever she wants....
