a boy scout(/"swiss army") knife, a pocket space blanket, and a roll of insulated low voltage blasting wire. a pimplespoon (a kind of fishing device) could be substituted for the latter (and would be easier to carry arround in your pocket) but whouldn't really hold up very well in a wind storm. (paperclip might also serve for number three but often might not prove long enough, even a box of them which would of course fit in a pocket nicely. the coat hanger in a sense duplictes the paperclip and is thus a wast of the space it occupies, though it might be easier to conceal then that roll of blasting wire granted. and only one stick of bubble gum? hell i'd EAT that. a small squeze bottle of zap-a-gap, (a.c.c. for imperfect surfaces) would be more useful.) a good many more then three uncommon small items could be easily carried about the person of anyone who wasn't stark ass naked. more common items, well there's always SOMEthing lying arround, even if you don't get to pick and choose before hand what that might be. =^^= .../\...
this would work, i never leave home without them. (or their functional equivelant) stinkfoot's: A tube of K-Y jelly Porn An inflatable replica of Nancy Pelosi made me laugh my ass off for some reason. good one! =^^= .../\... i wonder how many people realize, know about or even immagine, that before the mcgiver series, there was a series of stories in analog, i forget who wrote them, about a guy named william janovar, who went by the nicname of willie the j.o.a.t. (joat being an accronym for jack of all trades). the guy was a kind of halfway hippie who was also in a sense a true modern 'renesaunce man', i.e. a cross dicilpline specializing nonspecialist, i.e. his whole thing was that he had studied and dropped out of, never graduating from but learning a lot in the proccess, a multiplicety of scientific and engineering diciplines. oh and he lived alone in a cabin in the woods and rode a motorcycle, and did computer art over the internet. btw, the stories in question were written before there WAS any such thing as the internet. i think arpanet was just getting started about that time, and computers were still 8-bit and you had to build them yourself, that or mainfraimes like the ibm 360/70 and minis like the dec pdp 8e that were the size of a refrigerator and a bit beyond the price range of the average mere mortal. of course the producers of mcgiver, never as far as i know of, acknowledged the william janovar stories, and it is by no means certain that they were even awaire of them. but the parallels ARE interesting. =^^= .../\...
I watch MacGyver. I've seen him do amazing things with a ballpoint pen. I can't believe more people didn't put that down.
