2nd, i cannot agree with any of your points.

Mixing weed with tobacco effects the overall taste, GOOD weed, tastes GOOD

it doesnt need tobacco mixed in

it doesnt need ANYTHING, it tastes so fucking great alone, why would you taint it by adding tobacco?

and third, i'm not poor enough to need to mix my weed to tobacco to "conserve" the weed as you say, regardless of how potent it is

if 1 toke knocks me on me ass, then i'm smokin 5 fuckin joints of it in one sitting, i'm not concerned with prolonging a sack like some somone from isreal.

i agree with him to a certain extent, and it might be wise to recognize others situations. i am not that well off, and i mix tobacco with weed occasionally, to conserve an amount that is unneccesary for a single session.

i would also like to point out the video of you smoking a roach, where half of the smoke was wasted in the process of you hitting it. just imagine getting the same amount of smoke off cannabis, and wasting the tobacco, rather than the herb.

i agree with you though, if money is not a problem and getting toasted is the goal, by all means roll it alone. and not to forget, you live in british columbia digitall, where herb costs cheap compared to other places so you should look at the whole picture.

In europe people have been smoking hash and grass with tobacco for over 100 years, it's the way it's done here. Before it was criminalised you could buy smoking blends which included (amongst other things) cannabis and tobacco. Certain brands of cigs would even have a little hash/grass thrown in to spice up the blend as well.

Different people have different ways of doing things, is it that hard to understand? I usually smoke with a little tobacco as this is the way I learnt and have done for over 10 years, as well as every other fker over here does it like that so it feels strange doing it another way. Here and there I may make a pure j but if I smoke pure I'd rather smoke out of glass. Besides, you need cigs for hash joints (or lots of weed and money). Even if I put the same amount of grass in a J that I would do pure I'll add a little baccy to taste, it's personal preference.

TO each his own, I persoaly have tried it both ways and its both great. Iused to live in B-ham england and then i moved to B-ham Alabama, So i've pretty much seen alot of things you can do with pot.

well of course u need to mix somthing with Hash to smoke, it's nearly impossible to haul on a all hash joint

 

I have a filter in my bowl... I've actualyl never heard of joint filters though

 

im a fairly new roller, but spliffs never seem to make it any better for me...plus nobody really puts them in around here, meh. when they get real short, just put um in a bong chamber

 

i've been smoking 4 over 17 years and i never put "filter's" on the end's of my joints till i took a trip to amsterdam 2 year's ago........ now it just seem's normal to do so.... btw i dont use tobacco when i roll my joint's i prefer pure roll's.... when i was in amsterdam i tried mixed joint's (weed/tobacco) and i was not that impressed.... but anyways ya.....now i allways use a filter..... when i use to roll with-out a filter i would get little bit's of pot in my mouth..... it was not good..... with a filter..... no pot in mouth......all good now

 

we call them roaches in general, since roach really refers to the end of a joint that doesnt get smoked, and when you use a cardboard filter, it doesnt get smoked at the end so it is technically a roach in every situation that it exists. and yes it is a filter, because it filters bits of weed and stuff, it is just a really lousy filter for anything smaller than like a millimetre. and it prevents the end of the joint getting really resiny - some people want this resin though because the resin can be smoked later, but in most cases its just annoying to be passing a sticky thing around.

when i roll i use no filter because of the reason above, pot sometimes falls out into your mouth. I usualy havve some good nug and I like to be able to taste the pot that i buy so everyonce in a while while i'm smoking i find a little present in my mouth of a big peice of nug. always tasty and actualy better than smoking it, i love it.
