but as for "sports leagues", i have no strong bonds with any really. I enjoy watching hockey and basketball, but i never really got so into it that I'd spend hundred of dollers on a Jersey, or "sweater"... though someday...

 

Nah, not really. My dad wasn't a sports guy so I never really got into sports at a young age, all my friends that are really hard core sports people got that from their dads.

 

Best Goalie in the world? I'm pretty sure he's been out classed in most playoff games so far. Turko was teh better goalie, Nucks just have a decent team, unlike Dalas. He'll be out classed again by JS, just like last night.

Sick Jersey though, I have a friend who supports the nucks.

 

Marty is overrated. End of Story. But then again the Avs were overrated this season as well (and they weren't rated all that well).

this was his first NHL playoffs, and he stopped 94 shots in his first game to lead the canucks to a win!

Turco is a good goalie, but in terms of Career numbers and stats, Lu will pass him in no time, he's a Victim of the Stars system, and perhaps just bad luck

 

hey havent seen those before, i'm a sneakerhead, but i usually dont dwell into chicks shoes, but those kicks are definatly nice

 

you probably haven't seen em because i'm 90% sure you can't find them in canada (except probably toronto or montreal), and they are a year or two old now (newer models out since then). i had to order them online from Maryland.

i'm a huge sneakerhead too, theres nothing better then a fresh pair of kicks

 

Actually he stopped 72 shots in game 1 but still an unbelievable performance. I really thought he was gonna suffer when the NHL introduced the new equipment restrictions cuz he used to wear some of the biggest gear in the game but he really surprised me.

it's really hard for me to make any asumptions about eastern confrence teams because when the nucks went through their eastern swing they blew the doors off all the teams they played

Sens have some good offensive power, but nothing about them really stands out to me as a powerhouse, besides perhaps their big gunners on offense

Canucks outplayed them in game 7 and had the series at 3-1, they definatly earned the right to move onto the 2nd round

I hear ya there. I'm a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan & have 8 jerseys. 5 are 100% authentic the other is replicas. I paid a ton of $$$ for the real ones but fuck it. It's my team and the authentics look & last alot longer. I'm also a hockey fan. About 3 months ago I spent $300 for a authentic Sidney Crosby jersey. I also have many Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins jerseys, since the arena they play at is 5 minutes from my house. I guess people like us who spend the $$$ to buy these jerseys are hardcore fans.
