well i don't think any pap smear experience is ever really a pleasant one.. the first time i had it done, the doctor who did it spent about 15 minutes lecturing me about how i'm too young to have sex (I was 16 at the time), and how I should never trust my boyfriend when he says he dosen't have STDs because "young men are just in relationships for sex" (she didn't know that my boyfriend was 19, i have known him all my life, we had been going out for 2 years, we were both virgins prior to us dating each other.. so i felt it was none of her business to tell me who i could and could not trust), and when i asked her to keep it confidential that i was having the procedure done she said that if it wasn't for legal reasons she would be telling my parents everything. Anyway, the test came back abnormal which scared the pants off me, but it turned out that it's pretty comon for a first test to come back "abnormal", and that nothing was actually wrong.. the second test showed everything was fine and that i had nothing to worry about. nonetheless, the experience(s) absolutely sucked. yuuck.. doctors. pap smears. scares. yuck
