so, who is everyone etc? I'm Alice, me and my friend Faye were intrigued with this forum when we saw it so I decided to sign up. Any UK people on here? If I'm not being too bold, how many experiences of trips has everyone had? I had my first trip a few months ago but nothing really extreme, so I'm pretty curious but being sensible.. You guys don't like it? I thought it was amazing. I can watch it again and again and not get bored. I can definitely relate it to the psychedelic experience.

 

i like it...i just think thats the point of it, the guy definatly trips of something to create shit like that, or hes just really twacked out of it...either way the site's pretty cool

 

I love Larry's work. He's remained very true to the psychedelic experience. The Videos and flash animations are my favourites, although he does have a tendancy to repeat the same bit of music/graphics which can get a bit boring.

His digital artwork is amazing too

 

well that's a little pessimistic, but as phx says it's just cos you can relate to a lot of stuff on there when you're tripping.

my second trip went well, did a double drop of liquid and went to trip for hours in a lovely naturous area. saw all kinds of stuff, gorgeous psychadelic patterns in the sky, buddahs, random hallucinations. didn't have a bad trip or anything and was perfectly happy. though I did find that me and my mates just sat around talking complete incomprehensible nonsense all night yet understanding each other perfectly, it was pretty weird, does everyone else do that? overall acid is an excellent drug but only for special occasions i think!

i was stating a personal opinion about someones art form. all i said is that it was boring and almost irritating. if i told him to give up because he would never get better at his art - that would be pessimistic.

you would have to be a fucking idiot to think that i am pessimistic.

oh - by the way, me thinking that you are a fucking idiot is only my opinion and should in no way be construed as pessimistic either. i am very optomistic that given time to grow up you will mature into a fine young woman.

If you don't like the website then fine, but stressing how I'm a "fucking idiot" is not necessary at all, stop ruining my topic.

i was not angry - just think you are a fucking idiot. as far as i am aware this only applies to what i know of you which is little. but the little i know sure seems like an idiot to me.

no, i am diffidently right to criticize you.

my signature clearly states how i feel about people who are pessimistic. you obviously thought you were saying something real smart or something by calling me pessimistic.

i am a very optimistic person but that does not mean that i have to like the same website as you.

anyone who liked your website gets your good side - i come along and say i dont like it and you have to try to insult me.

i feel it is my right to set you straight if i can. my care for you as a person insists that i take the time to help you understand yourself.

if you dont like people calling you a fucking idiot - learn your lesson and think before you open your mouth. when you posted this thread you might have expected that not all people on here would like the site. now you know - larry carlson is not for everybody. big deal... i have the right to dislike it and as you can see it did not sway the opinions of the others so who cares if i say it is boring and almost irritating. it is just my opinion. you would be good to understand where you went wrong here.

explain how my opinion means i am pessimistic or maybe you should apologize. the problem is that in order to apologize you would first have to admit that you were an idiot for thinking that my opinion is pessimistic.
