Things are always changing, never minding the fact that life is always moving on. Gotta have the music that flows through the hair of the mind of your life and soul. Set it free for it's the only way to be. Life is too short and I'm only just beginning to understand what this wacky world we are living in is all about. So enjoy the fun, let loose and take it all in. Read a book, travel the world, mellow out to the thoughts that are always progressing never to lessen the brain that we all have but yet have not yet found the true meaning of our life. Soon it will be told, the life we lead will take us to a journey that is beyond anything that can be expected. So come along, for we are going up the country and we want you to see what this world can really bring if only to let your eyes be widen and your mind be open. =)

It's not my finest piece, but it's something.

That's all right, but somehow far too optimistic. The name Pollyanna comes to mind -- an incurable optimist in some play.

Maybe you need to have your dog die on you, then you can start to write. Read Solzhenitsyn or Hemingway. It could also be that your point of view is the right one -- who's to say?

This is from quite a bit ago. No worries, I got a lot of angst that have yet been seen here on hipforums. Thanks for the suggestions.

I agree with Dirtydog its a bit optimistic, I mean some of the things about the world are swings and roundabouts but the way the world works is far different to the ride it gives you. When youre having a good time on the ride, back there, in the machinery pit is a disgruntled old bastard shovelling coal into the furnace to make it turn while his boss haggles with a hardened killer that could just blow his top if he dont get his money so he can pay to import a load of crack to keep his street girls comin back.

I would suggest you read Franz Kafka
    and Edgar allen Poe

hahaha since all literature needs to focus on death and anguish...? We should change "All You Need Is Love" to "All You Need Is Love... unless your dog just died, then just kill yourself," and I was thinking about stealing Van Gogh's "Starry Night" and drawing a bloody skull on it.

I like it in all its beautiful optimism :)

The Mr Men dont focus on death and anguish and neither does most science fiction.

I suggest that you take a photo of your own butt and superimpose a picture of your face on it and then write about that in a different thread in the writers forum

Of course, if we can show the happiness and optimism that Dylanzeppelin expresses in our own lives, that will make us much more attractive in our personal relations. Laugh and the world laughs with you.

As a writer, the ideal might be to express that happiness and optimism, while keeping the reader aware of the tensions and drama of real life. Happy endings, for example, are good box office. (See my thread, "Anacapa".)

Reading your work really cheered me up this morning, but there was one thing about it that depressed me, dylanzeppelin. There was a picture of a very pretty girl at the end of every one of your posts, and now it's gone. For some undexplained reason that photo gave me inspiration, perhaps if you can find another one of the same girl with that cute smile you can set things right again.
