First off, sorry for making so many threads.

Anyways, I already have my dreads for about 4 days now (not long at all), and one started to seperate to about half my dread, so I ripped it apart, and now I have a nice little part. Thing is, I don't want a part. =C I'm wondering if this makes a big difference in a poinytail or not.

I'm seriously considering taking my dreads out, and redoing them. When I went home for the weekend, I had my Mom help me with the sectioning. I told her that I didn't want any kind of part at all. Before, I couldn't really tell, now it's a straight part going down the middle of my head.

So what I'm wondering is if I should take out all/a few of my dreads, and get rid of that nasty, neat little part.. or if I should just leave it be.

let your hair be. the more you mess with it, the worse off they are.

they are going to loosen (some hairs may even come out, mine do after over a year and mine are tight) and when they reform, the dreadies will be so nappy, you wont notice a part so much.
don't worry what they look like. its not a vanity thing :p they'll form into what mother nature meant for you to have if you just let them be. and that will be beautiful.
