Man, my friend just called me up and announced that he has just picked up some Salvia, enough for a whole group of people. He's in the big city right about now, but tonight he'll call me up and then we'll probably be using it. Any last minute tips (including ingestion tips)?
Yeah. Smoke it, hold it in long, but DON'T take many hits if it's 20x extract! I recommend taking one or two for the first half hour, and if you like what you get out of that, move on to three or four hits later on during the night to really get where you want to be. Also, read the Salvia Divinorum User's Guide (it's somewhere on the forums ...) before you do anything. Make SURE you have at least one sober sitter! This should be a REQUIREMENT! And good luck! If you get really scared because of the drastic effects that come on very fast (in only 45 seconds to a minute), don't try to fight it! Just let it go; it may be scary, but try not to get scared, it will ruin the trip and make everything absolutely horrible! Just let it take its course and don't worry about embarrassing yourself by saying something that might sound dumb. =P
Well I sure didn't wake up this morning expecting to have an experience like that! I took two big hits of 20x at once, and it hit me by the time I had exhaled the first. The first thing I noticed was that I felt like I was on a different plane of reality than my friends. They were pretty bad sitters as the guys that were supposed to be sitters had hardly come down by the time I smoked. We did it outside by a mini forest and after about a minute I started to 'understand' what was going on around me - that my friends were agents of reality and that I was supposed to go visit somebody in the heavenly office hallway I felt that I was in. So I started walking away from my friends, I didn't get all that far in total, but I got past the mini forest to some clearing. Past this clearing was another forest. I walked up to it and believed that if I crossed the line into the forest I would forever be sovereign of reality. This thought scared the hell out of me and I found myself running back to my friends. A minute after that I remember I spent about three or four minutes walking about connecting all of my thoughts. I can't recall this process, which is too bad, but by the time a friend of mine started to talk to me, I was standing up to a baseball diamond fence with my arms up and feet together like I was being crucified. Then I started to come down and we walked away from the forest area. I noticed that I felt like a ghost must feel. So my trip wasn't all that visual, but what a mind trip! Another interesting thing about it was that I felt was that I wasn't really in control of my actions like I am when I'm high. I could control myself if I really tried to, but I found myself thinking "I don't want to be doing this" but be doing it all the while anyway. Also, my feeling were very amplified, at one point I felt my friend got a little close and I freaked out and pushed him away, before apologizing profusely. It was a wonderful divine experience, and I plan on ingesting a little bit more next time. Oddly enough though, when I came down, I was okay with it, despite how much I had enjoyed the trip. I felt like it was finished, whereas with drugs like marijuana coming down comes with a strong desire to extend the experience. Wonderful.

=) Aye. I think my first experience was very bad because I did it spontaneously, and the second one was awesome because it was planned out more. =)
