its the time for the ice cream man. and here in rhondda we get door to door service! i wont be buying any though. im trying the vegan thing. key word there trying. but when you were a kid and would go down to the park, did you ever have a local ice cream man come and let you buy his ice cream? i used to buy it for my brothert and sisters friends (with my dads money) i was only 10 then.
Yum. I had a really good chocolate milkshake today when I was out driving around. It was so yummy it was beautiful.
Yeah..... snow cone trucks. We have snow cones trucks here that have like 200 flavors of snow cones... I love that truck.
The ice cream trucks that went through my street had reinforced steel cages and windows for some reason.....also they played many mexican songs, there was one that played frank sinatra sometimes and he had a soft serve machine and giant waffle cones for a dollar and sometimes sold pies and puddings...poor guy got shot in the leg and his truck stolen
no...we dont' have those i dont' even think the soft serve ice cream truck comes by much anymore...damn yuppies not reproducing lets go lucky, we have to make some babies - have to save the ice cream truck
I used to buy pot from the local Icecream man. He was big pimpin man....he would roll down the street with four 12'' subs in his Ice Cream van. He somehow found an Icre Cream truck sounding music with lots of bass...sounded kinda like ICP. I'll never forget the first time I met him: Me and a few buds were sitting around stoned out of our gourds, when we all heard the Ice Cream truck coming down the street. None of us said a word, we all just got up and ran out to the street. When we caught up to him he could tell we were all stoned. There were 4 of us, all 16-17 years old....drooling at the menu. We were all saying shit like, "Duuuude, I soooo wanna chaco-taco....Oh my God, give me 3 chaco tacos and 2 of whatever you think is good. I can't fuckin wait to eat this chaco taco maaaan." He slipped us a free dimebag and told us to follow our ears whenever we need some 'erb. He disapeard after two short summers, but he was a really cool guy. Man I wonder where he is now
I've never actually purchased anything from an ice cream truck before... probably because I rarely ever see/hear one here.
Never had a snow cone???? *faints* I actually don't miss much from the ice cream man...everything was too frozen and hard as a rock, not to mention you could walk to the oonvenience store a couple of blocks away and get the same things cheaper. Once we had a snow cone truck, he parked in front of the high school at lunch when I was 16 and we used to stage performances for him during lunch so that he wouldn't be bored when he didn't have custmoers. Somehow I think those had something to do with the fact he never came back...since the last "performance" was a staged sacrifice of one of our friends to him. I guess he didn't want her. Haha.
The ice cream man drove by my bday party this weekend and we flagged him down.arty: I felt like I was about 10 standing there trying to decide what I wanted. It was great . By the way, for those of you dyin of curiosity, I had what is known as a "Red Two-Ball Screwball" Tasty?:ack: Not so much. But I love the name!
