I've been thinking about this saying lately and wondered if it is in fact true on physical basis. I'm a pretty skinny guy and I really like fat guys, and I've met so many fat guys who really like skinny guys. Is this just coincidence or do opposites really attract? Of course you do get many look-alike couples, but are they a minority? So what body type do you have and what kinda person do you find attractive (physically)? Thanks 665
I'm a pretty hairy guy and I am into hairless guys. From what I've read there are a lot of smooth guys that are looking for a bear.

Well I'm hairy, and like hairy guys And im pretty short and the shorter a guy is, the more attractive I find. I guess no opposites attract for me
I disagree with that. Most couples that I know seem to be very similar in fact. I know that like people who have similar interests to me, a similar sense of humour and similar political views. Without that...I don't know things just wouldn't work properly. Can you imagine living with someone who was far right wing while you were left? Chaos!
Opposites attract except when it's a major defining characteristic, in personality anyway. But I think that opposites attract for some people physically as well. I mean I'm pretty slender, and I'm not really into chubby guys, but I do love muscled men. I also have minimal hair on my body and I find body hair to be really unattractive, that is, unless it's mixed with some hardcore muscles.
Well i'm chubby and hairy and I like slim, smooth(ish) guys, but I also know a lot of people who like others that are like them (e.g. chubby guys liking chubby guys, smooth guys liking smooth guys etc)
I'm skinny and decently hairy, and as far as I know, I'm only attracted to skinny guys, and their hairiness isn't a factor.
I'd much rather have a bunch of things in common than hardly anything at all with a guy.I've dated guys where there wasn't much common ground;and that just doesn't work for me.
I remember someone I ran into who was gay and he was extremely pushy. I pointed out to him that he and I had pretty much nothing in common, and he said, "Well, you know how opposite attract, so therefore I know you *must* like me..." I was like all, "Uhh, dude, no I don't. As a matter of fact, I think you're pretty rude." (lol) So I think it probably a bit more complex than just opposites attracting. I think it has more to do with the fact that people can be opposites in many ways but still have similar personalities or still like each other despite disliking the other's likes. I believe it has more to do with whether the people are genuinely good and caring to each other and things like that, otherwise opposites can despite each other if they chose to just like anyone else, lol.
i hate sports and exercise, and therefore im not very strong, but theres this guy i know whos really strong and thin and hes really hot.
I am 6'3 bout 165 pds..def a skinny boy. I believe opposites do attract. I def dont go for fatties. I like in shape guys pref . I think most do! However Dependent on personality and the rest of the package I will consider someone who has a less than perfect body type. As far as other physical attributes. I always go for darker featured guys which would def be my opposite in every way as well. I like latins, hispanics, middle eastern, red heads even etc. Jus no blonde blue eyed dudes for me. No way!
I think this is quite obvious with most people, since most people are straight. Im not sure if Im into any opposites personally. Im into small-medium build(not into meatheads), smart, funny, and good looking. I want someone similar to myself.
