YES YES YES YES!!! Come to the BLUE MOON ON THE PASEO TONIGHT (Tues, April 3) to hear David Rovics (www.davidrovics.com) sing all the news that's fit to sing, and all the heart that's made to inspire us. Very reminiscent of the immortal PHIL OCHS, and WOODIE GUTHRIE, JOAN BAEZ with a very contemporary bite and urgency.....David will help us remember why we're here all together in this sea of sorrow and madness and possibility!
SEE YOU THERE......... 2926-C Paseo Drive, Oklahoma City

Oklahoma is one of the worst areas to live for open-minded people with the european live and let live attitude. You are most welcome though! Times are changing, very slowly...

Hey ShamanamahS, highsite let me know when you want to get a nice beer! There are a few good areas to go in the metro.

uhu i get what you're saying. everybody is really nice but i have heard and seen some things that make me go "uhmmmm..? o...k...."

haha but the people are nice. you just cant compare it to europa at all and honestly... i miss belgium.
away from all the fast food places and back into cozy historical towns with stuff to see and good little restaurants.
but my husband is from enid and this is what home is too him and i understand that, so for the time being we're here :)

hope you have met more good people in OK. Have you heard about the Paseo drum circle? I helped organize it last Aug. and it's now going strong. I feel the way you do about this place, that's why I realized we needed a regular drum circle..... writin06@yahoo.com talk soon! Beetsnow!

ROFL are you serious? I cant stand that place. Their main stage doesnt even have a pole....the fights are pretty entertaining though. Double D's saloon is my new favorite strip club....its on I-40 and council. I hear they got $1.00 coronas all summer, dont quote me on that though. I havent been there since early May though, more into racing and the lake now that the weather is warm.
