Okay my luck with the the medical world. I tore my knee up, they operated. Knee still not right but was healing then... I started having breathing issues on Saturday. By Tuesday I could only walk to the bathroom and have to catch my breath. I would be out of breath, felt like I would throw up, get cold and sweaty and then pass out cold for a minute or two. So off to the ER I went, they did massive testing to my heart and such and then transported me to a larger hospital with more gear. More tests and wella, the surgery sent blood clots into my lungs drastically reducing my ability to pass oxygen into my blood stream. I now am enjoying the grand palace room with lots of wait staff but they do love to take my blood alot! So far I get to hang out here till monday. oh well!
Aw thats horrible! I hope everything goes okay. Yeah I've noticed the medical world just wants to operate on everything and inject stuff into you and crap. My dad had back surgery and his back has been hurting badly and they just keep injecting corizone in him.. it just doesn't seem good or natural, OR helpful. I keep telling him to go to an acupuncturist! So try that out!
well, without surgery you sould have bee much worse off. Pulmonary embolism is very common after surgery, and was most likely mentioned on any consent forms you had to sign. This is something they should have been watching carefully for. I don't know where you live, but I would consider going to a better hospital next time. IT seems like the place you were at was not up on their medical knowledge.
