I was in a gigging band for 2 years, boy it was a blast!! But since the lead guitarist was my boyfriend, I got kicked out when I dumped him...sux. Anyways, I'm looking to start an all female band. I play bass, my sis plays keys...I have a few guitarists on hand, but I can't find a drummer!! I've posted at guitar center, put ads in Relix. Grrr...It's very frustrating...I wanna play out!
The basic crapola is simple... it's sort of like the whole grunge craze except there was more to it as you modernized. It's not very complex. Sure, if certain genres weren't there there would be nothing else today to build a foundation upon and continue on... I see it not being hugely meaningful. Sure, I like all music, but I'd never sufface myself to play with a band just because I have nowhere else to play. Nowwwwww... if I were to actually join a band (which I have been in the process of doing for three months now but have been a little off track) it would depend. I taught someone in my tech lab class last year how to do some guitar tech work and I'm going to do sound tech work and EQing for him... I'm not really into the same stuff he's into though, but it's worth a shot.
been taking guitar for a few months, would like to be in a band some time, dont think i would be a cover or gig band, it wouldnt be to difficult to get into a band here, but i'd want to start a band of my own, with a more folk rock genre, like kansas and tull; speaking of which also hope to take up the flute soon
