This is what I would do. But if you want to be conservative I would say mason jars. Ive heard you can store bud in there for a year or two and if its cured right itll be fine. And even if you didn't live with your mom I wouldnt reccomend freezing it.

Mason jars are made with two lids, and old ladies use them to store fresh peaches in. I think most supermarkets sell them.

Mason jars are good, but I don't like them. I just prefer baggies.

Mason jars: it's a glass jar with a suction lid and a ring lid. Go to the flea market or a farmer's market, check out their homemade jellies and preserves. That's a mason jar.
Why should you not put it in the freezer: I don't think there's anything wrong with putting it in the freezer. My parents, when they were in this co-op back in the 80s and early 90s, they had these huge glass jars of several herbs. And they kept them in the freezer. Your best bet? Leave it in a cool, dry, semi-dark place. I keep mine in a shoe box on the top rack in my closet. I prefer the little Ziplock bags. And why would you want to store pot? It's for smoking. Not storing. Silly goose. :)

I always use old pill bottles. They seem to work fine for me.

I've used pill bottles before. That, and those little containers of bottles that you usually put used film for your camera in. Those black cylinderical bottles with the grey pop-tops? Yeah, I've used those for ages. Then, I used Ziplock bags.

It'll stay fresh in just one. Weed's already dried out. Unless, we've all misunderstood you and you have the actual fresh-picked leaves... then, that's a question for George (Orsino2). You might want to PM him. But if it's already been dried, then one ziplock bag is fine.

I think the quality of the humidor makes a difference.
