well, it's true. a month ago from today me & my boyfriend were kicked out of our school. i've been to about 3 schools. one was an academy in my city, the other was the city's public school. i decided to go to the christian school because i wanted an easy & care free high school, i am not a christian however. this year (my junior year) i went out with my current boyfriend, who introduced me to weed & i began smoking ritually soon afterwards. life has been fantastic ever since. -- well, we always knew that it was possible for our school to drug test us & neither of us had much to do with anyone else at our school so it was easy to hide. all of our friends went to other public schools around the city. we were good students, we have the demerit system. neither of us had any demerits or had gotten into any sort of trouble. they are some bad kids at our school are constantly trying to cause trouble. well, there was a party one friday. neither i no my boyfriend knew about it, but that monday afterwards they decided they would drug test us. they said, mainly for alcohol. i don't know why, alcohol gets out of your system in about 24 hours. they would of partied friday night, & they're testing on monday, days later? who knows, they're not so bright... well, my boyfriend & i tested positive for marijuana. we had to withdraw the next day, both of our parents were very unhappy but we are still able to see eachother & i am still able to do all that i could do before, although i was in trouble for about a week. i am homeschooled now, but i will go to a public school next year. my boyfriend sadly has to repeat his senior year to graduate from highschool. but now life is good, i love being homeschooled & i still am smoking all the time, although i promised i wouldn't. there are some people that just don't understands the joys & understanding marijuana can bring you. good luck to you all, & i hope this doesn't happen to any of you, i am lucky to be almost back to where i was in a month. peace.
I went to a Christian school too.. Many people were busted for pot and suspended, even suspended for a yera. But they charged the parents 5grand per year per child, so they were not about to kick anyone out.
its so stupid when schools get involved in things that happen outside of school. its kind of like a cop having jurisdiction in their county, and then going and making arrests somewhere else. it doesn't really make any sense. why would a school care what the students do outside of school?
That sucks. My school has randomly started drug testing people from what I have heard. They haven't pulled me out for a drug test yet, but I know of about three people they have. One failed and was suspended.. It's retarded.
Private schools, which should be allowed to do any damn thing they want short of child abuse... neways, i'd say start reading the qu'ran, get all 'true-believer'-y, and then give it up. parents would be relieved enough not to get pissed about this. (no offense to the many wonderful muslim peoples out there, it's just that conservative americans are very afraid of your religion.)
