This is SO mindblowing... where is "The Doors"?

This is something I've been wondering for the longest time now...

...where the heck is the soundtrack for Oliver Stone's "The Doors"?

It's been out of print for quite some time now, for reasons I just can't fathom! It has a ton of Doors classics on it as well as a couple of other cool pieces of music, it sold extremely well, the movie was a hit and fans of the movie all rushed out to buy the soundtrack.

And for quite some time now the soundtrack has been out of print. Search for it used on either CD or cassette, and chances are you'll have to pay more than for the average used recording.

Why in the world is this one out of print? It just doesn't make sense to me.
